Technical Fabrics

- Basis: highly-flexible, technical weaving mill
- Use of many different synthetic yarns such as polyester (normal and high strength), Trevira CS, polyamide 6.6, polypropylene and lots more
- Additional use of glass yarns with textile or silane sizing agent and glass/polypropylene blended yarns
- Combinations of different types of yarn possible -> hybrid fabrics
- Warp beam weaving and creel feeding possible
- Weaving width up to 5.30 m possible thanks to different looms
Application and uses
Composites:
- Composite materials consisting of two or more combined components
- Glass fabrics (optionally with silane sizing agent) and glass/PP blended fabrics (Compofil) to give the composite matrix its reinforcing strength
Coating carriers:
High-strength polyester, polyamide and glass fabrics for
- Thick-film coating systems in the field of tarp banners and covers
- Thermoplastic coating systems such as textile architecture and flexible containers
- Aqueous coating systems for digital printing for indoor use
- Solvent-based coating systems such as bellows materials
- Coating applications with synthetic rubber in the field of expansion joints, bellows systems and flexible receptacles
Filtration:
- Dense filament and fiber fabrics made of polypropylene for use in wet filtration systems to separate solids from liquid
- Supporting fabrics made of polyester, polypropylene, PPS and PAN yarns for filtration systems used in hot gas filtration
Industrial applications:
- Glass and polyester fabrics for reinforcing and insulating pipelines and also for high-voltage insulation
- Fabrics used for sewer rehabilitation
- Carrier fabrics for manufacturing artificial turf with the tufting method
- Dense polyester fabrics for bulk bags
- Polyamide fabrics to be further processed for outdoor applications (e.g. furniture, tents) and luggage/bags
