EPD for glass fiber wall coverings

January 2023 - Environmental protection and sustainability are not only a top priority at Vitrulan, but are practically embedded in the natural raw materials – the DNA of our products. To be able to document this in black and white, the EPD for glass fiber wall coverings is currently being renewed.

But what exactly is an EPD?
EPD stands for Environmental Product Declaration and is a Type III environmental declaration. It is regarded as the "identity card" of a product and transparently records and evaluates all environmentally relevant processes.

To obtain buildingcertification according to LEED, BREEAM or DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council), it is essential to use building products that have an EPD.
The EPD for our glass fiber wall coverings is expected to be available from July 2023 at our website and on the website of the Institut Bauen und Umwelt e. V. – the IBU http://ow.ly/MTH550Mnvw1.
