In an unprecedented sequence of events, a famous restaurant chef has opened a restaurant at a Parisian railway station and opted for the SYSTEXX Active L65 logo wall fabric to stamp his identity on the venue.
Restaurant LAZARE was opened as part of a redevelopment program to improve the food and drink establishments at railway stations. The idea is to combine a modern feel with originality, quality and taste. Eric Fréchon, chef at Le Bristol, which was awarded three stars in the 2009 Michelin Guide, aims to popularize fine cuisine by making it accessible to a broad public.
Initial situation: A spacious area that needed to be given its own attentive style
Talented interior designer Karine Lewkowicz set the scene, decorating the façade to create an individual, attentive style for the spacious area inside Saint Lazare station. In this restaurant, which is open from early in the morning until late at night, she has succeeded in creating areas to suit each time of day. In the center there is a curved wooden bar where people can drink an aperitif and eat a snack while waiting for a train. The wooden shelves full of crockery add to the comfortable, homely atmosphere in the big eating area, which serves breakfast, lunch, tea and coffee and evening meals.

The customized logo woven into the wall covering gives the reception area an individual character. The effect of the newly designed area is intensified by specially adapted lighting.
