Whether in meetings or during lectures, projections, photos, plans or work flows, for example, increasingly need to be presented on a large area. To facilitate this, the magnetically-active SYSTEXX Active M39 glass fabric was used for the meeting room of the Charité Campus Berlin-Buch.
Initial situation: Everything is pinned to or stuck on the walls with adhesive
This leaves holes in the wall or traces of adhesive. To prevent this in the future, the Charité Campus Berlin-Buch sought a way to temporarily post the required materials on the wall without damaging the surface or impairing the look.
Solution: SYSTEXX Active Magnetic M39
The new presentation area should have an attractive finish and at the same time provide a way to post materials. In close cooperation with Simone Gehrts Architects and the Hackradt painting company, Professor Pischon, Head of the Research Department of the Charité, opted for the magnetically-active SYSTEXX Active Magnetic M39 glass fabric.
Thanks to its patented magnetically-active back, magnets stick to the front. Plans, lists, posters and notes can easily be posted or removed without leaving any trace. The magnetically-active back is non-conductive (preventing leakage current) and does not affect the use of cell phones or WiFi. Even multiple applications of paint do not impair the magnetic performance.
Result: Attractive walls and numerous presentation possibilities
Employees can easily post information or hang posters and, if necessary, remove them again quickly, without leaving a trace.
In addition to Magnetic M39, two other fabrics were applied in the Charité:
SYSTEXX Active Reno S38 renovation fabric that hides traces and marks of up to 2mm in the substrate due to its special texture, thus providing walls with a smooth finish. And SYSTEXX Comfort Structure 604 that comes with a classic structure. Thanks to its pre-pigmentation, one coat of paint is usually sufficient.
