Just like hospitals, dental practices have to meet strict hygiene standards and regulations. A clean, sterile environment is particularly important in treatment and examination rooms.

Initial situation: New dental practice

The "w Kamienicy" dental practice, run by owner Dr Patryk Sobczyk, was built in 2013. It is a highly regarded practice in the Gryfino area, a popular summer holiday destination. The aim was to ensure that the treatment and X-ray rooms, entrance area and hallway of the new building met the industry’s strict hygiene standards and building regulations. The overall result was to be attractive and appealing to patients.

Solution: SYSTEXX glass fabrics

Thanks to their outstanding technical properties, SYSTEXX glass fabrics are particularly well suited to the healthcare sector. They are easy to clean, vapor-permeable and create a healthy indoor atmosphere, as their Oeko-Tex certification testifies. Like nearly all SYSTEXX wall coverings, the designs used in the dental practice come with Aqua technology: an adhesive coating on the back that just needs to be activated with water. This means that there is no need to apply adhesive to the wall coverings at all, reducing labor time by between 30% and 40%.

The result: smooth, hygienic walls

SYSTEXX Comfort V22 (now named SYSTEXX Pure Fleece V22), a smooth glass fabric, was used for the walls and ceiling of the treatment room. It can be hung quickly with no visible joins, producing a completely smooth appearance.

SYSTEXX Premium 077 (now named SYSTEXX Phantasy Icecubes 077) and Premium 060 (now named SYSTEXX Pure Silk 060) glass fabrics were used in the other areas: Premium 077 (Icecubes 077), with its organic pattern designed by the famous architect Hadi Teherani, and Premium 060 (now named SYSTEXX Pure Silk 060) with its smooth, timeless design create the desired overall appearance.

The walls and ceilings are now covered with hard-wearing SYSTEXX products. Thanks to their long renovation cycle and high product lifespan, they create a lasting, uniform appearance that pleases both the owner and his patients.
