Coating
The coating industry is very diversified, which leads to a wide range of requirements for the products used in this sector. Vitrulan technical textiles, produced from glass fiber or synthetic yarns, offer a wide range of applications in this area thanks to their individual raw material and coating variants.
Custom technical parameters
Fabrics made from glass fiber or synthetic yarns are used in a variety of ways in the coating industry.
The specific material properties of Vitrulan coating carriers mean that the technical parameters of the coated fabrics, such as maximum tensile strength or elongation and shrinkage behavior, can be tailored perfectly to the intended application.
Custom raw material combinations and coating options
The coating industry field is very diversified, which leads to a wide range of requirements for the products used in this sector.
The manufacture of technical fabrics can be tailored just as individually. The yarns and rovings used are made of glass, aramid or Gualon, for example. If desired, another additional coating can be subsequently applied, for which silicone, acrylate, PTFE/Teflon, graphite, fluorocarbon, polyurethane as well as various fire- and flame-retardant materials are available, to name just a few.
