Training for prospective painters

Every skilled trade is underpinned by a solid, comprehensive training program. Students should be shown as many of the diverse aspects of their future career as possible, gain practical experience during their vocational training and have the chance to try things for themselves. And that includes familiarizing themselves with different techniques, technologies and materials.

As part of a program to provide all-round training for prospective painters and decorators, our colleagues Didier Metayer and Christophe Robin from the French sales team were only too happy to demonstrate the use of Aqua Technology with glass fabrics and fleeces at BTP CFA Loire Atlantique, the French building industry training center in Saint-Herblain.

The trainee painters and decorators got the hang of it in no time and had a lot of fun trying out their newly acquired skills.

Incidentally, our colleagues don’t just run these training events for new entrants to the profession. They are also appreciated by experienced painting and decorating firms and wholesalers as part of our customer service offerings. And at our in-house training center in Marktschorgast, Bavaria, we also include a tour of the factory. Here, customers can see for themselves how delicate glass yarn can be turned into an extremely robust glass fiber wall covering.
