Caritas St. Theresia Clinic in Saarbrücken, Germany
In hospitals it is important that the environment is hygienic, hard-wearing and appealing. In addition to clinic rooms in need of renovation, SYSTEXX glass fabric was also used for the new functional diagnostics unit of the Saarbrücken Caritas Clinic.
Initial situation: Need for renovation
Throughout the Saarbrücken Clinic, walls were covered with old glass fabric - in the reception area, treatment and patients’ rooms. Although they still provided a hygienic surface, after 20 years they were outdated.
Solution: SYSTEXX Comfort 608 (now named SYSTEXX Pure Structure 608) and 611
During the planning of the reconstruction and renovation, the focus was on a solution that did not disrupt the clinic’s daily operations. Thanks to its quick application time, high impact-resistance and suitability for multiple repainting, SYSTEXX Comfort was selected. Further advantages are its good ecological properties and excellent flammability classification.
Result: Timeless walls creating a clean environment
The goal to create a technically as well as visually appealing environment has been achieved. The walls are attractive and have been met with enthusiasm by the staff and patients. “The application of the fabric as well as the appearance of the finished walls fully meets our expectations,“ says Dipl.-Ing. Elke Gaber, Technical Department.
